Terms of Service

Your time is valuable and so is ours.  To ensure that we provide a high level of service, we ask that you understand our terms of service prior to your first appointment.

Appointment Information

​

Once you book an appointment, you will receive a confirmation email and an intake form to fill out. 

​

You will receive an appointment reminder up to two days before your appointment.  If you need to change your appointment, call or text straight away to avoid cancellation fees. 

​

CANCELLATION POLICY: A cancellation fee of 50% if required if you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice.  Failure to attend an appointment without providing prior notice incurs a 100% cancellation fee.  Payment is required within 24 hours and prior to your next appointment. 

 

If there is a medical reason for not being able to attend the appointment and it is less than 24 hours’ notice, we can reschedule your appointment and the 50% cancellation fee may be wavered. We can also change your appointment to an online session and support you with your health and wellbeing. Online sessions are effective and have the same results as face-to-face sessions.

Humbird Services does not:

​

  • Diagnose or treat a named disease.

  • Does not have the authority to take any person off any prescribed medication.

  • Does not give specific nutritional and/or supplement advice without the appropriate qualification.

Humbird Services will cease sessions if clients are impaired through the use of drugs or alcohol, or if their mental state is such that they require hospitalisation.

Integrity
​

Humbird Services will only work within the scope of its registration, qualifications, and competence, and if necessary, refer to other registered health practitioners and share appropriate information with them (with written consent). 

​

As an unregistered health practitioner (which includes all natural health care practitioners), Humbird Services is additionally bound by codes of conduct for Non Registered Health Practitioners and the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission.
